On the first Friday of each month, Pastor Derek Neider and Brandon Kagel of Calvary Chapel Spring Valley do a special segment for the Rise Up radio show. On April 1, CCCS Superintendent, Pastor Rick Martin, was welcomed on the show to discuss the topic of Christian Education. Pancakes and PJs Recap Video

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the first annual Pancakes and Pajamas Breakfast hosted by Connect! From those in attendance to those serving, there was an overall atmosphere of enjoyment during the event–a sense of joy which comes from connecting with one another. The vision of this recap video (edited by one of our own tenth grade students) was simply to tell that story. For more info about upcoming events, please visit our CCCS Connect page.

Chapel 100 – Bailey Carlton

“Through Impact Africa, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, rescue babies who have been abandoned by their families, and disciple many of the youth and adults that live in surrounding areas.”

As part of this year’s Chapel 100 program, our Middle School and High School students heard a message from Bailey Carlton. Bailey is a former student of CCCS and a missionary to Johannesburg, South Africa. He has devoted this past year to serving with a parachurch organization called “Impact Africa” and currently plans to go back to minister in Africa for another year. The Lord taught him some incredible life-lessons through this experience, and Bailey communicated some of this newfound wisdom to our students and reminded them that no matter where they currently are in life, they were “born for this”. Here is a recording of his full teaching:
