CCCS Information for January 14, 2016

Parent Connection Meeting:  Thursday, January 21st @ 6:00 pm in the chapel.

Topics Include:

  • 2016-17 tuition rates
  • enrollment drive for 2016
  • financial progress from the assessment
  • reenrollment procedures
  • Vision for CCCS

This meeting includes all incoming Kindergarten through 11th grade students (2016/2017), so current families of our graduating  Seniors are not expected to attend and new Kindergarten families for next year are expected to attend.

We hope to have at least one parent from each family at this event.  Thanks in advance for making this a priority.

***The grade with the highest level of parent participation (attendance) will receive one WEEK of free dress!


The Annual B.R.I. (Build, Reach, Impact) Dinner Auction is scheduled for Thursday, Feb 11th.  Tickets are available in both offices.  Full tables with V.I.P. seating and sponsorships are also available for your extra special guests.  Auction donations are being accepted, contact Madeline at for more info.


Shop with Scrip:  The scrip order for this month will be placed on Jan 28th.  This is an ongoing event and orders will be placed twice per month throughout the year.  It’s a great way to offset your tuition!

Dance Academy will begin again on Jan 21st!  This is for all 1st-8th grade students.  Registration forms are in the offices or call 702-248-8879 for more info.


  • Coffee Shop: Elementary students are not permitted to make purchases or ‘hang out’ in the coffee shop without a parent before, after, or during school hours.  This does not apply to middle school/high school students, however, mshs students must be off property, at their athletic practice or in Calvary Club by 3:30.
  • New Chapel Schedule for 2nd Semester: In response to feedback from our parents, Chapel has been moved back to the morning timeslot. Please join us for Chapel with our new schedule – Thursday mornings 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. for all Elementary students.
  • 1st Semester Awards Assembly: Friday Jan 22nd at 1 p.m.


  • Mission Week Teams:

o   The Dream Center Team is meeting on Jan 22 during lunch in the Conference Room and Pastor Barry is providing lunch for them that day!

o   Naomi House Team meeting is Jan 19th at 3:15pm in Mrs. Hall’s room.

  • SNOWBALL Photos: Photos are available to view and purchase at, search under “client images”.  There are also a few on our Facebook page,
  • Dress Code: We have some challenges with students and our dress code policy.  Mr. Ruiz will be randomly checking classrooms for students that are not in proper dress code per our dress code policy which is stated in our student handbook.  Those that continue to be non-compliant will be issued a demerit. Please make sure you refer to our student handbook if you have any questions regarding the CCCS dress code policies. To access the student handbook, go to, click on “currently enrolled”, then “Student Handbooks”, then “Secondary”.  If you have any questions, please call the school office.
  • Renweb – all students should be checking their Renweb accounts on a regular basis for their grades, homework, lesson plans, etc. If you need assistance with logging into Renweb, resetting passcodes, or if you have never set up your Renweb account yet, please come to the school office for assistance.  Parents should also be checking Renweb, if you do not have an account, please contact the school office.
  • Closed campus at 3:30 – please be reminded that all MSHS students must be picked up and off both school campuses by 3:30 daily; this includes the Coffee Shop. Any MSHS student that is still on campus by 3:30 needs to go to Calvary Club, which is located in the MSHS building, room 130
  • Lost and Found – please check the lost and found often for your child’s missing items.  Currently, we have placed the lost and found items in the MPR for students to claim their lost belongings.
