Special Chapel: Alumna Returns for Worship

Yesterday (Monday, April 18, 2016), CCCS Alumna, Karlie Burggraf, made an appearance in chapel to sing as part of a praise and worship band from San Diego Christian College. Karlie is currently attending the College in San Diego.

SDCC also sent one of their Alumni, Chandler Corzine, to deliver a teaching to our student body. He exhorted the students to be a “generation of love” and not one of hate. In response to his message, the students stood in agreement during a special time of prayer.

CCCS would like to thank SDCC for sending out their students and alumni to minister to our students; and we look forward to welcoming them on campus again one day!

Chapel 100 – Bailey Carlton

“Through Impact Africa, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, rescue babies who have been abandoned by their families, and disciple many of the youth and adults that live in surrounding areas.”

As part of this year’s Chapel 100 program, our Middle School and High School students heard a message from Bailey Carlton. Bailey is a former student of CCCS and a missionary to Johannesburg, South Africa. He has devoted this past year to serving with a parachurch organization called “Impact Africa” and currently plans to go back to minister in Africa for another year. The Lord taught him some incredible life-lessons through this experience, and Bailey communicated some of this newfound wisdom to our students and reminded them that no matter where they currently are in life, they were “born for this”. Here is a recording of his full teaching:
