CCCS Information for November 5, 2015


Days Off and Half Days:

No School:  Friday, Nov 6 (Teacher In-Service) and

Wed, Nov 11th (Veterans Day).

Half Day:  Friday, Nov 20th is a half day (11:30 release)

No School:  Nov 23-27 Thanksgiving break


Innisbrook:   We kicked off the INNISBROOK gift wrap and catalog fundraiser to help offset your assessment fee. The fundraiser runs from now until next week Thursday November 12th.  Your family will earn 40% of all the sales which will be directly credited to your assessment account! Innisbrook is known for their great gift wrapping product and your children can also earn great minion prizes!   Please make checks payable to  CCCS.   Also for your convenience and for all your all family and friends out of state, they can order online at **just make sure they email you a copy of their order so we can credit your account.

Online orders will be shipped directly to their home, all catalog orders will be shipped to the school on the 15th of December. is another great way to offset your assessment fee.  Buy gift cards for stores you already shop at and receive a % toward your personal assessment.  See attached.

  • Turkey Trot Olympics:  On Nov 20th, we will be having a Turkey Trot Olympics with fun games and a Thanksgiving chapel. This is an early release day. You are invited to attend and help with this event. Festivities should begin around 9 a.m.
  • Socks: The elementary campus is collecting new socks for Blessfest.  The collection box is in the elementary office.


  • Turkey BowlOur Annual Turkey Bowl touch football game is scheduled for Nov 20 on the ministry field.
  • Can Food Drive: MSHS will be helping the Las Vegas Rescue Mission by participating in a can food drive.  Any student who brings in a canned food item will receive a free dress pass.  The can food drive will end on November 19th.
  • Homecoming Photos: If you would like to view and/or purchase Homecoming photos, please visit and the photos are under “client images”
  • Lost & Found: The Lost & Found bin will be donated on Nov 20th.  Please come to the office and check for missing items.
  • Change: The office does not have a cash box to make change, so please send your students with small bills and/or exact change for the vending machines.
  • Students who drive: All students who drive must inform the office and fill out the required forms.
  • 2.00 Jean days are every Friday and only Jeans are allowed to be worn.  No holes, no leggings and no sweats.  If violated parents will need to bring a change of clothes for their child.
  • Atomic Testing Museum: Mr. Fergason’s Chemistry students will be going to the Atomic Testing Museum next week.  Please contact him directly with any questions
